The Rules
SCORING AND SUCH
The Hoopla challenge is a fun contest for advisors and agents working with Dixon Wells. The Contest is simple: Pick teams in the Hoopla bracket that you think will win the most games and possibly win the national championship. After each round, points are awarded for each team's win. The top point accumulator will win a Omaha Steak Feast Extravaganza. Additional Omaha Steak packages will be awarded for 2nd, 3rd and 4th place point accumulators. In addition, the top point leader in each of the Dixon Wells offices will win a prize. The participant with the worst point accumulation will win a block of really bad cheese. There is no charge for playing in The Hoopla. The points awarded in each round increase throughout the tournament (see below). This year, there is a twist. The lowest two seeds in each region will receive more points for their wins. Yes, we are rewarding the underdog. The scoreboard will be adjusted throughout the tournament, so check back often.
